Meet Molli, my manatee mailbox. Yes, you read that right – my mailbox is a manatee. And not just any manatee, but one that loves to dress up for the holidays.
Molli is not your average mailbox. She’s a unique addition to my front yard and always manages to make the mailman and anyone passing by smile. People can’t help but stop and take a second look when they see her dressed up for the occasion.

During Christmas time, Molli transforms into an abominable snowman . And for Halloween, she transforms into a spooky witch with a witch’s hat.
Molli’s even been known to rock a bikini and sunglasses during the summer months. When Independence Day rolls around, Molli is the most patriotic mailbox on the block. She dons a flamboyant tutu in red, white, and blue and proudly waves an American Flag.
As you can imagine, Molli takes her holiday attire seriously. She’s always on the lookout for the latest and greatest costume pieces. I swear, she spends more time planning her outfits than I do!
Molli the Manatee Mailbox Brings Cheer to the Neighborhood
But what I love most about Molli is her ability to bring joy to those around her. She may be just a mailbox, but she has a way of brightening up everyone’s day. It’s not uncommon for passersby to stop and take a picture with her or even leave a note of appreciation in the mailbox.
